The nanoIndEx Open Workshop was held in Berlin at BAuA Facilities on May 30th and 31st, 2016. More Info can be found here!
PAST WORKSHOP The Eranet-SIINN project nanoIndEx together with the CEA Nanomaterials Chemistry and Safety Laboratory organized a workshop on
“Assessment of Individual Exposure to Nanomaterials”.
The workshop was held on November 21st 2014 in Grenoble, France, subsequent to the fourth international conference on safe production and use of nanomaterials NANOSAFE 2014. The international project partners presented an interesting program comprising lectures of the nanoIndEx project partners. Presentations covered the possibilities of personal monitors and samplers and addressed questions concerning the personal exposure to MNMs such as
- the identification of measurable metrics and suitable personal samplers and monitors
- laboratory tests on samplers and monitors using a large variety of particle size distributions and morphologies
- field studies on the comparability and applicability of samplers and monitors
For further information on the workshop please contact the coordinator of nanoIndEx Christof Asbach via firstname.lastname@example.org.
We would like to thank all participants again for their participation and all the fruitful discussions during the nanoIndEx workshop and we are looking forward to meeting you again at our second nanoIndEx workshop which will be held in spring 2016 towards the end of the project.
